Effective engagement in investment is becoming increasingly important. Ahead of the launch of our Engagement Tracker in early 2022, we are delighted to host a breakfast roundtable to bring together asset managers and institutional investors in the stewardship space.
We are excited to be joined by Sarah Woodfield and Bill Hartnett, our speakers for the session.
Sarah Woodfield – Stewardship Manager, The Investment Association
Sarah is responsible for developing the Investment Association’s policy on stewardship, corporate governance and responsible investment matters; working with investment managers, regulators and listed companies to promote the long-term success of investments. She will be sharing her insights on the market trends and complex regulatory developments within the stewardship.
Bill Hartnett – Responsible Investment and Stewardship Expert
Bill is a highly-respected and award-winning ESG executive with over 20 years of successful career in responsible investment and stewardship. His particular strengths lie in climate change. Bill has gained international experience in both London and Sydney across roles in asset management at Aberdeen Standard Investments, asset ownership at Local Government Super and research at both Innovest and MSCI ESG. He will be speaking at this roundtable event about engagement best practices and his personal experience of engagement in large scale investment firms.
